Bystander Intervention Workshops

The Rise Above the Pack campaign, in its effort to contribute to positive social change, has a focus on positive bystander intervention. Bystander Intervention Workshops have been developed and delivered by YWCA Adelaide, to men and women in workplaces and community settings. These interactive workshops, delivered by a male and female facilitator, empower participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to safely intervene in situations where the respect or safety of women is in question, and to challenge anti-social behaviour based on gender inequitable attitudes.
